 I think one of the saddest things in this world is child abuse. I always hear reports about child abuse form the lower socioeconomic class but I know that children of all races and class are being abused. I think that it is sad that people with more money are able to hide the abuse from the media and Child Protective Services. I also think that it is very sad to see a child that has been abused so much that they do not talk and are not on the same developmental level as other children their age. Another form of abuse I hate hearing about is those children who are locked away in closets and never fed. It breaks my heart to know that parents or caregivers abuse children who are so helpless and who most of the times just want to be loved.
